COVID-19

Can this be over yet?

There’s really only one thing on everyone’s minds lately- and it is a deep-rooted social dilemma that changes the outlook of all our lives, health, income, and sanity. The response to the COVID “pandemic” has been a lot for everyone to handle- and it is something that can be discussed in more detail if you have questions. So, for a change of pace, we wanted to mention some of the positive things that are a result of the happenings in the world. We know that stress is a direct detriment to our health, so focusing on the positives is uplifting to our spirits, health, and overall well-being. The biggest take-away from me is that nobody should worry- stressing about things you cannot control is the fast-track towards poor health.

While not worrying is hard to do, here is what we can focus on: This “quarantine” has forced people to slow down, take time off from the hustle-bustle lifestyle, and break bad habits and routines. It has proven to many that we do not have to rely on money to be happy, work all the time, and have the 9-5 mindset to have enough to get by. We can balance our time and money and differentiate between “wants” and “needs”. Many families have been forced to strengthen their connections, let their imaginations run wild, and appreciate all the things we take for granted. We all have been able to become less wasteful, renewing our focus on being more productive, improving the world, and seeing the good in others. Our newfound community spirit brings arise the notion that people are always willing to help, and we will have positive changes to look forward to in regard to our education and work environments as well. Cleaning, organizing, and de-cluttering our homes, lives, to-do lists, and busy schedules will allow us all to breathe easier and have less stress during such a stressful time.

Most importantly- we have a renewed focus on our health. Our mindset has not changed- we know that you control your own health, and it is something to be valued more now than ever. As for the virus, we have been correct in our treatment all along: strengthen the immune system, and fuel your body with proper nutrients- Zinc, Vitamin C, Melatonin, Nitric Oxide, and Glutathione are all being used to treat patients in need. The things to always keep are that this gets better, we will recover, and we will improve how we respond in the future. The cases are already improving, and the numbers show that it was nothing to worry about from the beginning. Remember that medicine is not omnipotent and does have flaws, so the only thing you can control is your own mind, body, and health. It is something we should not take for granted, but just know that you have the power to change it and take care of yourself.

Yours in health,

Dr. J.
